Congratulations to the Neosho High School Class of 2024! Commencement marks a significant milestone in your educational journey toward success. We are thrilled to celebrate this momentous occasion with you, your friends and family.

Guests, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the event details, expectations, parking and traffic flow procedures.

Event Details:

• Thursday, May 16, 2024 
• 4:30 p.m.: Complimentary Shuttle Service Begins from the Neosho Junior High School.
• 6:00 p.m.: Gates Open at Bob Anderson Stadium
• 6:30 p.m.: Graduates Arrive
• 7:30 p.m.: Commencement Ceremony 
• Post Commencement Ceremony: Complimentary Shuttle Service Begins
• Bob Anderson Stadium: 511 S Neosho Blvd, Neosho
   

Expectations:

Guests will not need tickets to attend.

Guests will not be permitted onto the field during the commencement ceremony. Professional photographers will be on-site to capture the special moments. Once the ceremony is completed, guests will be able access the field to locate their graduate(s).

Weather:
In the event commencement is delayed due to weather, the alternative dates are Friday, May 17 or Saturday, May 18. 

Prohibited Items:

For the safety and security of all attendees, please remember that items below are not allowed.

• Weapons
• Alcohol
• Drugs
• Vapes
• Noisemakers of any type (bells, horns, whistles, etc.)
• Confetti of any type (poppers, cannons, etc.)

No person will be permitted into the venue with any of the above items. Please plan ahead to ensure a smooth and timely entry in the venue. 

Parking/Shuttles:

• General parking is available in the Bob Anderson Stadium lot and the south lot of Neosho High School.
• Handicapped parking is located at the La-Z-Boy indoor practice facility, located on the north side of the Bob Anderson Stadium, in the upper parking area on the east side of the stadium and south of the stadium. A current handicapped placard will be required to park in the designated areas.
• Complimentary satellite parking is available at the Neosho Junior High School, located at 14646 Kodiak Rd, Neosho, MO 64850.
  • Four shuttles will start running at 4:30 p.m. and will run every 15 minutes. The final shuttle will depart from NJH at 7:15 p.m. 
  • The shuttles will drop off at Hill Street, just a short walk from Bob Anderson Stadium. Attendees are highly encouraged to use the satellite parking, as it will facilitate the flow of traffic exiting at the end of the event.
• Please note, off-site parking is not supported by traffic control. Remember that business owners can prohibit non-patrons from parking in their lots.
• Please use caution at crosswalks and remember that parking on Neosho Boulevard is prohibited.
• When commencement is over, the return shuttles will be staged and ready at the base of Hill Street, directly behind the gymnasium, to begin taking attendees back to the Neosho Junior High School. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes and the service will be completed once the parking lot is cleared.

Traffic Flow:

• When commencement is over, traffic will be free to exit both northbound and southbound along Neosho Boulevard.
• Law enforcement will be assisting traffic flow at
  • South Neosho Boulevard and West Harmony Street (Arvest Bank intersection)
  • South Neosho Boulevard and West South Street (Walgreens intersection)
• Traffic will be stopped periodically to facilitate the shuttle service to the satellite parking at the Neosho Junior High School.
